Quad Cities Regional Business Journal:
APS: Local company, global impact
Recently APS was proud to be featured on the cover of the Feb. 20 edition of the Quad Cities Regional Business Journal (“American Power Systems: Local company, global impact”). In fact, the intro is a perfect description of our approach:

"Only a small sign with a red, white and blue logo gives away the identity of the company – American Power Systems Inc. (APS) – that occupies the building at 426 W. Second St. in downtown Davenport. Yet the reach of this local business, founded in 2006 by local engineer and entrepreneur Thomas K. Evans, extends to almost every continent around the globe."

We may keep a low profile, but here’s a fun fact: To date, APS products have been used on more than 10,000 vehicles across multiple continents, including Africa, Asia, the Americas, Europe, and Australia.

Long-time APS Commercial & Fleet Program Manager Jim Dunlap transitions toward retirement
American Power Systems, Inc. prides itself on the experience of its employees as a customer differentiator, so when one of them decides to retire, you can bet we have a plan in place for a smooth hand-off.

Jim Dunlap, Senior Program Manager for our Commercial & Fleet division, will begin his transition to retirement beginning in early April 2023. Jim has been with APS for nearly 12 years, but it’s now time for kids, grandkids and travels with his wife to get more of his attention.

But have no fear. Keith Stein, who joined the APS team in September 2022 as a Program Manager for C&F, has been working directly with Jim for the past several months and will now take lead on Jim’s accounts.
